Once upon a time, a human brain
that functioned for many years
got tired of the constant fighting
between its two hemispheres.
Two so-called opposing forces
were trying constantly
to impact the choices of the person,
and push decisions accordingly.
The man was listening mostly
to the voice of the left side,
because, you know, men do that,
unless they weren’t taught to “hide”.(😜)
One day, the right hemisphere
said “I’ve had enough!”.
It was about to give up,
“since he prefers the boring half”…
Before going for ever mute
it decided to try once more
so, instead of silencing itself
it spoke louder than before.
A revolutionary thirst
pushed it to add dancing and singing
so, a vivid party in his mind did burst,
and the man’s life started changing.
Although he lived through that
experiences new and moving
he realized his “walking” was
somehow misbalancing.
The brain was still dissatisfied;
half blooming, half withering.
It asked for help, looking in-n-up.
The Observer was the key-King.
“There is space for everyone’s value.
One is not the other’s antagonist.
Instead of focusing on the two sides,
make corpus callosum* the protagonist”.
The hemispheres got the message;
cooperation filled the frame.
If only one player in a team is happy
the team doesn’t win the game…
“In any situation he’ll have to deal with
we’ll work together, both on stage.
Does this need more “left side” or “right?”
we‘ll ask, and then pick our percentage”.
The golden ratio isn’t an equality;
it’s a proportion, and in any case,
percentages have to be (re-)formed
to bring the “gold” we all chase.
The man found balance.
His mind was euphoric again,
just like before his brain was formed;
returning to the state of no-chain.
Corpus callosum: is a wide, thick nerve tract, consisting of a flat bundle of commissural fibers, beneath the cerebral cortex in the brain. It spans part of the longitudinal fissure, connecting the left and right cerebral hemispheres, enabling communication between them. (Wikipedia)

It's a myth, of course, that men use the left hemisphere much more than the right one; that women use the latter one more than the former is also a myth. The complexity of the brain is still very far from understanding, perhaps indicating some kind of creator who continues to work in mysterious ways : )
